I’ve been super craving steak and while I know that most people say that creating this kind of juicy red tender interior is actually one of the most easiest things to do, I have no idea why I really struggle to create that kind of juicy effect everyone seems to be able to easily accomplish.
Craving that juicy steak texture, we head out to San Telmo in search of quality Argentinian steak.
We opted for the set menu but also added steak tartare (because I absolutely loooooove steak tartare) and had been massively craving it too.
Some of the other dishes available to order from the a-la-carte menu.
To start off, our empanadas. (Apologies for the slightly blurry photos)
Followed by our steak tartare (which was a separate addition we added).
Here we have the sausage, chorizo (traditional pork sausage) and morcilla (spiced black sausage). Maybe it’s because it’s the first time I had this but I really loved the spiced black sausage.
Next up we had our steak, solomillo which is “O’Connor’s premium strip loin, on the bone 28 days dry aged, 500g”.
Loved the sauces that come with it too, really refreshing & appetising.
Finally we wrapped up with dessert which was a dulce de leche creme caramel flan with a salted peanut praline.
The total bill came to around $100 per person (including wine). The food was great and the service was lovely so definitely a great place if you’re craving steak or just want a cute date night restaurant to go to.
